Chicago’s concierge community is always out exploring in order to better inform their hotel’s guests on how best to enjoy the city. The Westin’s Rhoda Kucuk recently ventured out to 10 different neighborhoods to find 10 local spots where someone could fill their belly for $10 or less. Here’s a quick look at her various stops.

West Loop The Allis - sliders
The Allis

Pastries, sandwiches and salads, as well as coffee, teas, cold pressed juices and comfy chairs and sofas. Located in the new SoHo House, there is great lighting with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Bridgeport
Jackalope Coffee & Tea House
755 W. 32nd StElaine's Coffee Call - cookie
Mythical creature sandwiches, soups, coffee and tea in a funky, whimsical atmosphere.

Lincoln Park/Old Town 
Elaine’s Coffee Call
1816 N. Clark
Cozy spot in the Hotel Lincoln with craft espresso drinks, pastries, light fare and shabby-chic decor.

Chinatown
May May Gourmet Food
210 W. 23rd St
Tucked away on a side street off Wentworth Avenue, you’ll find this local spot offering rice and noodle dishes starting at $3.75.

Greektown
Artopolis

Stop by this charming European café any time of day. Artopitas, Mediterranean starters and soups, and traditional Greek desserts — you can’t go wrong.
