ZED451’s game day deals

Every Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight, ZED451 will be serving up $5 wings and beers. Wings come with three dipping sauces, and the beer menu features domestic, craft and imports.

Late lunch menu deal at Taco Joint Taco Joint - Two tacos

An all new late lunch menu is being offered at Taco Joint Urban Taqueria and Cantina between 1:30-4:30 p.m. This $12 deal includes two tacos, a side of rice and beans or guacamole with chips and salsa, and a margarita or a can of Tecate.

Taco Joint is located in River North at 158 W. Ontario and in Lincoln Park at 1969 N. Halsted.

Christmas Around the World at the Museum of Science and Industry

With more than 50 trees hand decorated by volunteers, Christmas around the World opened Nov. 14 at MSI. The 72nd annual event runs through Jan. 5 and features more than 30,000 lights and ornaments and a 45-foot grand tree.

The Museum of Science and Industry is located at 5700 S. Lake Shore Dr.

Holiday Theatre Passport

Six theatre companies are coming together this holiday season to bring you six holiday-themed shows and prizes for taking them in. Patrons who see four of the six shows will receive a ticket from each theatre for one of their 2014 productions. Guests who see all six will be entered into a drawing to receive one of five season passes. The passport includes discounted tickets to the shows.

Join the cast of Wicked for a good cause Dec. 2 Wicked Tour Emerald City

Members of the national touring company of Wicked will be in attendance for Musical Monday at Sidetrack in Boystown Dec. 2, belting out some of their favorite hits from the musical. This event will last from 6-8 p.m., with net proceeds going to the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids foundation. Tickets are $20 at the door and include two drink tickets.

Winter Wonderfest specials at Riva crab house

Starting Dec. 6 and running through Jan.  12, as long as you have your Wonderfest wristband, Riva’s will give you a 10-percent discount on food options and a kids’ menu priced at $4.95.

18th annual Southport Holiday Stroll Dec. 6 and second annual Jolly Palooza on Lincoln Avenue Dec. 7

With the holidays coming up, the Lakeview neighborhood chamber of commerce is hosting the 18th annual holiday stroll on Dec. 6 from 5-9 p.m. on Southport from Belmont to Irving Park. There will be more than 30 participating vendors offering discounts and other festive fun. On Dec. 7, Jolly Palooza will kick off on Lincoln Avenue from 1-4 p.m. between Diversey and Addison.

Eve of the Eve and New Year’s Eve dinner cruises aboard the Mystic Blue and Odyssey
